Privacy notice
How we handle the personal information you share with us. Last updated September 12, 2026.
Who we are
Tallyforth is a trade name of Labyrinth Holdings Inc., a British Columbia company. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you use our quote form and choose to send your results to us, we collect:
- Your name, business name, email address, and (if you give it) phone number
- Your answers about your business: industry, team size, transaction volume, current software, how you track receipts, how far behind your books are, payroll needs, and fiscal year end
- The estimate the form calculated for you
- The page you first arrived on and the website that referred you, if any
Nothing you enter in the form is sent to us until you press “Send this to our team.”
Why we collect it
- To review your estimate and confirm pricing
- To contact you about your quote and about becoming a client
- To understand which pages bring people to our site, so we can improve it
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use or disclose it for any other purpose without your consent, unless the law requires or permits it.
Your consent
By sending your quote, you consent to us collecting, using, and storing your information for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. We'll then stop using your information and delete it, unless we're legally required to keep it.
Where your information is stored
Quote submissions are recorded in Google Sheets and delivered to our team by email through Gmail. Both are Google services, so your information is held on Google's servers, which may be located outside Canada. Information stored outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the country where it's held, including lawful access by authorities there.
Access is limited to the Tallyforth team members who respond to quote requests.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as long as the law requires, and then securely delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask how it has been used, and ask us to correct anything that's wrong. We'll respond within the time PIPA requires.
Questions and complaints
Questions, access requests, and requests to withdraw consent can go to our privacy contact at [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.
