Who we are
Tallyforth is a bookkeeping firm for small businesses in British Columbia. It is a trade name of Labyrinth Holdings Inc., a British Columbia company. We work remotely with clients across the province, so there is no office to visit and no drop-in hours — everything happens by email, by phone, and through the file we keep for you.
We keep the books monthly for trades and construction businesses, rental property and holding companies, restaurants, retailers, and professional services firms. Most clients are one to twenty people, incorporated or about to be, and want one team handling the whole year rather than a bookkeeper for part of it and a scramble at year end.
How we work
- One flat monthly fee, quoted from your actual volume — transactions, accounts, invoices, bills, and people on payroll — not an hourly rate that changes when a month gets busy.
- Your QuickBooks Online or Xero subscription is included in the monthly fee. New clients go on QuickBooks Online unless they already have a file somewhere else.
- Bills are forwarded to an address we set up for you, recorded, and — if you want — scheduled through Plooto for you to approve. Every payment is released by you, not by us.
- We never chase or collect payment from your customers. You invoice in your own software, send us copies to record, or send us your billable items and we raise the invoices.
- Year-end corporate returns are prepared and filed by a licensed CPA we work with, on books we've kept all year.
